Small-town paper calls attention to unsolved civil-rights killings


FERRIDAY— In December 1964, two white men poured gasoline over the inside of Frank Morris’ shoe repair shop and set it on fire while a third waited in a getaway car. Flames shot 60 feet into the clear winter night and resulted in an explosion throughout the city.
